| A visit to the back side of Piz Surgonda is best left til late summer when the retreating snows reveal a scene reminiscent of Landmannalagaur in Iceland. Picture in your mind an open-cast iron ore mine filled with ice. It`s easily approached in 2 1/2 hours from the Julier Pass. And you`ll likely have it all to yourself. |
