Ever since I read the fifth chapter in Doug Scott`s book Himalayan Climber, I have been intrigued by this area. I wasn`t surprised when Mount Waddington was chosen as the subject of the Hollywood (and therefore OTT) film K2 . They needed a savage mountain somewhere in North America, but one remote enough to remain unknown to the wider public. That remoteness compelled us to take an airplane flight in 1999, if we wanted to see it. These pictures are uncommon, if not unique on the www, if you don`t mind me saying.
