All of these photos were taken in the Adirondacks in Fall, 2009. The weather was very wet (and apparently had been so since May!) and it therefore made more sense to point the camera down or across at waterfalls rather than up at the "mountains" there. The South Branch of the Grass River is sure special in this regard, though the waterfalls take some finding and we rooted out only a handful of the known ones.
